Winter Sweater

This camel colour cardigan is my ultimate fave at the moment! The colour stands out and i love it's soft knit cut long for a draped feel; it's finished with gold embellishments for a fun touch.  I styled this look for a more casual day time look.

Winter Wonderland

It's been a while since the last time I blogged; hence, my blog is somewhat neglected.  A typical day for me would consist of: work, cook, meal prep and work out-- then repeat.  I wish I had all the time in the world to include blogging as well. *sigh

Anyway, here are some recent pictures I've taken in this cold winter wonder land!

Denim On Denim

Who's says it's a fashion faux pas when you wear denim on denim?  Well, the thought may seem so wrong but it's so right.  There is a trick to pull off this look; try pairing off a darker wash top with a lighter wash shorts for a summer look--voila! so effortlessly chic yet comfortable!

Florals X Pencil Skirt

You can't go wrong with floral prints this season; they come in different shapes, styles and sizes for spring.  This bomber jacket is one of my favourites from Mango (bought in Taiwan).  Paired it with a black leather pencil skirt to bring out the colours of the jacket.

I Got Me A "Boyfriend" Jeans!

Sorry for the mini hiatus... been raining like crazy these past days in Vancouver so my photographer, Michael and I had to find an indoor space for a photoshoot.  Luckily, I got to use my mom's empty (temporarily) place for a couple of hours.  I gotta say, I like the convenience indoor shoot has to offer.  Keeping warm is definitely not a problem, you're not fighting with the sunshine (shadows, glares...not good for photos!).

I'm really happy with how my pictures turned out.  I've been into the grudge look lately; so free and basic.... yet I love combining two contrasting styles... for this, I paired my boyfriend jeans (yes! Scored! been looking for a pair that actually fits me! lol) with a T-shirt from La Notte from Aritzia and of course my beanie from Aritzia completes the whole grudge look.

Enjoy your week ahead everyone!  take it easy!

Fall Trend Alert: Leather

Leather is one of the biggest fall fashion trend alongside plaid.  It has been one of my favourite pieces to wear; the look gives off that tough girl vibe.  I love to combine my style with edgy and feminine pieces.  I styled my leather mini dress overall with a floral cropped top and a pair of clogs heels.

This photo shoot has to be the MOST coldest shoots I ever did.  Definitely underestimated the cold weather night.  I know what everyone is thinking... summer clothes in Vancouver during late fall season?!  Yes, call me crazy! LOL  And yes, I ended up freezing my bum off.  Never Again!  But on the bright side, I am satisfied with how my night shots turned out.  :)
