"Almost Victorian"

One of the spring trends that you need to be on the look out for is the Victorian trend. High necklines, bows, puffy big sleeves and ruffles are some of the key elements of the said trend.

As soon as I saw this top, I was immediately in love with it! I've always been into lighter, flowy and sheer fabrics. The voluminous sleeves are my favourite part of the top. It's floral fabric is a great addition to the perfect spring top. I downplayed the look with distressed denim and over-the-knee-high suede/leather boots.

Vest

The weather is getting cooler, leaves are starting to fall, days are getting shorter... these are a few signs that fall is on its way. Vests are ideal for transitional weather. It can add an extra layer of warmth and are very stylish. I sometimes like to style my outfit with a vest when I feel like the outfit is lacking that oomph factor.

For this outfit, I paired the vest with a see-through 3/4 sleeves top and finished it with a pair of shorts. I completed the look with a pair of peep toed cut out shoes.

Love At First Sight: Asymmetrical Geometric Pocket Shorts

I am interested in shorts or skorts that make a statement and this pink 'Asymmetrical Geometric Pockets shorts' by SheInside have definitely achieved that. I like the origami fold details; they remind me of architectural designs. These shorts are not only comfortable but they are chic and very modern.

I paired the shorts with a lace top, Dillema from Aritzia and a blazer from H & M. I finished the look with a pair of chic white pumps and my vintage Salvatore Ferragamo purse for a modern look.
