S-L-I-T It Up!

I've been patiently waiting for my package of skirts to arrive.  Finally this 'French Terry slit skirt' from Free People made it to my mail box last Thursday.  I'm very pleased with the quality and fitting.  It is very flattering and yet gives the right amount of sexiness.  I've always fancied tasteful slit skirts and this skirt is no exception.  The silhouette is fitting as well as super comfortable.  The mesh overlay adds an interesting detail too.  I styled it with this adorable 'Raba Knit Top' from Plenty, shoes from Aldo Shoes and jacket from Urban Outfitters.

The Trendy Box Bag

The runway had absolutely take notice Celine's classic box bag and luggage tote in the fall 2011 and still continues to take centre stage this Spring 2013 season.  The box bag had taken this season's bag-loving world by storm.  These chic beauties come in an assortment of styles and sizes, vivid colours and interesting details.

Square shape spring bags that feature high shine metal trims; leopard prints and yellow folder over flap are some interesting pieces.  These chic beauties are definitely popular amongst famous celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Emma Stone and Kate Bosworth.  And I am sure they will be more visible out in the streets.

A Pop of Neon

I have to admit I am not a black kind of gal.  My closet consists of many vibrant coloured or printed tops, cardigans, dresses, etc.  Would you believe that I only own two pairs of black shoes? Big shocker.

Neon colours are becoming apparent this spring that I just had to share with you this cute top I purchased from the Philippines during my vacation two years ago.  This cute neon green with a sexy back top purchased at People are people is an amazing piece to pair off with any printed shorts, skirts or pants.  A printed pair of shorts from American Eagle is the perfect piece.  For the accessories, I went for the gold and white box shoulder bag by Lauren Merkin.  Lastly, a pair of Expression shoes to finish the look.
