Winter Wonderland

It's been a while since the last time I blogged; hence, my blog is somewhat neglected.  A typical day for me would consist of: work, cook, meal prep and work out-- then repeat.  I wish I had all the time in the world to include blogging as well. *sigh

"Vintage" Summer Skirt

I still have a lot of pieces from my closet that I kept since I was in my early 20's.  And no I'm not as young as I look! lol.  Nonetheless, I'm glad that I still fit all of my clothes that I now consider "vintage." ha!! This skirt I own I've had for almost 10 years now.  Fits to a tea and I love the length!

Trend Alert: Harem Pants

Being petite has its disadvantages... whether I stress about finding the perfect fit 'boy friend' jeans, a dress or in this case harem pants... I found these harem pants from Aritzia with excitement because I couldn't believe they actually fit perfectly! Yes, scored these badass!

S-L-I-T It Up!

I've been patiently waiting for my package of skirts to arrive.  Finally this 'French Terry slit skirt' from Free People made it to my mail box last Thursday.  I'm very pleased with the quality and fitting.  It is very flattering and yet gives the right amount of sexiness.  I've always fancied tasteful slit skirts and this skirt is no exception.  The silhouette is fitting as well as super comfortable.  The mesh overlay adds an interesting detail too.  I styled it with this adorable 'Raba Knit Top' from Plenty, shoes from Aldo Shoes and jacket from Urban Outfitters.

Men's Wear Invasion

There is something uber sexy about a woman in men's wear.  Perhaps, there's so much power to the men-inspired clothing? Hmmm....

Just realized my closet was missing some basic tees.  With great desperation, I dug up my boyfriend's closet.  Found this Nautica basic white tee.  I've been into anything over-sized since last fall which also makes this piece perfect.  Paired it with a distressed pair of jeggings with a lighter wash from American Eagle for a more cohesive look.  To add some character to the whole look, I added this animal print cardi from Banana Republic and Chelsey Crew booties from Plenty.

My weekend was rather relaxing and productive.  I spent my time writing reports since it's the end of the school year.  Yes, teachers write reports.  Lucky to finish it all now (Phew!)
